IDPs lack health care in Nimule

Over six thousand Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs camping at Melijo in Nimule area lack health services and risk getting diseases.
 
Eastern Equatoria Relief and Rehabilitation Commission Director John Odongi Simon said the IDPs stay far from Nimule town without a single health facility Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
Mr Odongi appealed to partners to quickly intervene by offering health services to rescue lives of IDPs in Melijo.
 
Eastern Equatoria Health Pool Fund Coordinator Richard Ochak Morris suggested setting up a health unit for IDPs in the area.
 
The mid-December crisis forced over 35 thousand people from various areas of South Sudan to Nimule town of Eastern Equatoria.
 
Some IDPs crossed to Uganda while others scattered within Ma’di Corridor of Magwi County.
