Yei Deputy Mayor on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral urged hotel workers to sell hot food to customers to prevent cholera.
Silvano Ali called on citizens to eat hot food and drink treated water to prevent the spread of the looming cholera in the country, Easter Radio reported.
He appealed to local alcohol sellers to boil before serving customers, urging citizens to desist from drinking contaminated substances.
Mr Ali urged masses to maintain clean sanitation by burning rubbish and cleaning their environment.
