Commerce, Industry and Investment Undersecretary revealed that 471 investors’ companies registered to invest in the country.
Simon Nyang Anei made the revelation when he and a delegation from the ministry visited some companies to assess their progress, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said most of the companies registered after mid December crisis are actively conducting businesses.
He added that out of 471 registered companies, 261 are foreign.
Mr Nyang said foreign companies are still pouring in a great number to invest in South Sudan.
True Company Managing Director Moheb Nan said his company produces 700 boxes of juices every day.
He unveiled the company’s plan to produce more boxes of juices to supply all the ten states in near future.
Mr Nan expressed happiness to invest in South Sudan without obstacles.
True Company produces three brands of juice including mangoes, apples and guava of 300 millilitres and one litre.
