Western Bahr El Ghazal State Assembly specialized committees heads failed to turn up for deliberation on audit report scheduled for Tuesday sitting.
The assembly was expected to listen to reports from Ad hoc committee internal audit and review ministries’ financial expenditures, Voice of Hope reported.
Ad hoc Committee head Mario Nyibango John declined to present the report in the absence of some committee chairpersons, asking the speaker to halt the session.
Acting Speaker Francis Famma postponed the sitting after members rose without inquiring why some committee chairpersons were absent.
Anonymous sources in the assembly said the chairpersons could be boycotting the report outcome.
The Ad hoc committees observed fund misappropriation in three ministries including Public Service, Education and Physical Infrastructure.
The report recommended legal measures be initiated against those implicated in financial misappropriation and office abuse.
