Central Equatoria Youth, Culture and Sports Minister faced military threats when Pastor Abraham Chol called soldiers to stop members of the demolition committee at gunpoint on Tuesday after order issued on April 29 banning church construction on Shimba playground.
CRN learned that David Lokonga Moses’ committee was returned without doing its work after the 72 hours ultimatum.
Pastor Chol supporters disrespected the order that told him either to relocate or face demolition.
Minister Lokonga said Shimba playground was given to South Sudan Football Association for sport activities, not for construction of church.
