CES Governor calls on South Sudanese to support peace process

Central Equatoria Governor called on South Sudanese to support peace process in the nation.
Speaking on behalf of Equatoria Governors in a press conference on Monday, Clement Wani Konga urged citizens to rally behind President Salva Kiir’s peace efforts, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said people and government of Equatoria support peace in South Sudan.
Governor Wani Konga called on Dr Riek Machar to honour the agreement they signed with President Kiir for South Sudanese to enjoy peace and grow crops for food.
He pointed out that the mid December conflict erupted because leaders put their interests first, forgetting the nation and God.
The Governor suggested that elders in the ten states should be brought to Juba to meet and talk to Dr Machar.
The Governor said security conditions in the state was normal except few killings that will soon be ended within Juba city.
