Wau Catholic Diocesan schools are staging sex education to school girls to minimize dropout due to early pregnancy.
Sr. Maria Goreti Namunu who heads girls’ child education in the diocese said girls between 13 to 20 years are very curious; exposing them to dangers of advance sex, Voice of Hope reported.
She reminded the adolescents to be clean, understanding and adjusting to body changes.
Sr. Goreti added that the program targets all diocesan schools.
More than 80 school girls made up of class 6 to 8 gathered at PALICA centre to attend lectures on sex education.
