Yei catholic priest on Friday asked Christians to improve relations with Jesus Christ, warning them against joking with prayers.
Fr Lazarus Mondua criticized many Christians for only praying in funerals and parties rather than doing it every time.
He said Christians should improve their relations with Jesus by renewing their faith through concentrated prayers.
Fr Mondua urged Christians to confess their sins and commit to prayers to resist temptations.
The priest warned that without persistent prayers, Christian faith would weaken as evil powers gain control of situations in life.
Fr Mondua made the call at the last funeral rites of Santino Sebit, the father of Yei Vicar general Fr Zachariah Angutua Sebit in Tore Payam.
