Western Equatoria State Member of Parliament representing Yangiri Constituency was knocked down by a motorist, causing fracture in left leg.
Yangiri MP Monoko Rodolph Leone had the unfortunate accident on the eve of Easter on Saturday night, Anisa Radio reported.
The legislator was knocked on his way to master a fundraising ceremony during the Easter in Tombura Parish.
Tombura Commissioner Babiro Charles Gbamisi regretted the accident in the County.
There were no reports of arrest made to the motorist.
