Torit Catholic Priest appeals for reconciliation

Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator appealed to South Sudanese to reconcile with one another and with God.
 
Monsignor Thomas Oliha said the tragedy in the country needs reconciliation, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
The Priest said the mystery of the passion of Jesus Christ is the greatest act of reconciliation.
 
He asked government to allow religious leaders form truth and reconciliation commission free from political influence to enable people express their feelings to end the conflict.
 
Bishop Emeritus Paride Taban earlier on warned that the country was at risk of collapse due to war mongers, forgetting the history of Napoleon and Adolf Hitler.
 
Bishop Taban suggested dialogue, respect, justice as solutions to the political crisis in South Sudan.
