Yei River County Education Director encouraged teachers to go for professional training to offer quality service.
Philip Taban revealed that most government schools have untrained teachers, urging them to go for training or face downsizing policy once discovered.
He added that many teachers would not qualify for training because they do not have Secondary School Certificates.
Mr Taban said government relies on voluntary teachers.
The director added that earlier teachers’ downsizing caused shortage in the county.
