Morobo County Women Chairlady blamed parents for increasing early girl-child marriage.
Hellen Khemisa Abure said that parents pay less attention to pay school fees for school girls, Morobo Community Radio reported.
She narrated that some parents build separate huts for daughters, which encourage them to sneak to men or even sneak the men into their huts.
Ms Khemisa said, ‘Rape and defilement play a big role, it doesn’t mean only sexually but also a girl or a boy being raped in the brain with the situation she or he faces’
She urged the government to initiate boarding schools to keep the boys and girls to reduce early pregnancies.
