Yei River County South Sudan Law Society Legal Aid Officer warned citizens on Thursday against violating laws of the land by carrying out mob justice.
Data John said those who take the law into their hands would never go unpunished, Easter Radio reported.
He decried the unlawful killing by stoning a suspect to death by some brothers and sisters for alleged poisoning.
John condemned the act, saying the perpetrators should have followed legal procedures.
The Legal Officer enlightened masses that the act is treated as murder under section 206 of South Sudan Penal Code.
