Fire on Friday early morning gutted one shop reducing all commodities to ashes in Yei.
The shopkeeper told the press at the scene that the shop caught fire at around 4:00 AM while he was sleeping and all merchandise worth 84 thousand South Sudanese Pounds were burnt, Easter Radio reported.
Yei Chamber of Commerce Deputy Chairman Lucy Kolog urged the State Trade, and Mining ministry to assist the victim, calling on the Government to beef up security.
Yei Fire Bridge Director called on residents to report incidences to relevant authorities for immediate attention.
