New Secondary School to focus on science subjects

The new secondary school of Emmanuel Model of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Yei diocese launched on Tuesday would mainly focus on teaching science subjects.
The school head teacher Sitima Joyce Justine said they would work hard to teach the mixed school on the science subjects for better performance, Easter radio reported.
She said they registered 37 students so far and would continue registering the rest who wanted to join and that they are starting with senior one.
Yei County Education Director Philip Taban commended churches for contributing to the education sector by following the legal procedure of opening schools.
Mr Taban revealed that a team from the State Education ministry would assess schools in the county.
The director advised citizens to open schools legally by consulting rushing to open illegal schools for money motive.
The director spoke to the media while opening Emmanuel Model Secondary School.
