Motorbike killed one man on Saturday evening at Thiet payam road in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
Traffic Police Officer Daniel Michael said Boda-boda rider knocked down one man around 9:00 PM and died in Tonj Civil Hospital, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He explained that the deceased was crossing the road while the rider was riding at high speed without light.
Mr Michael said the rider who sustained head injury was arrested.
He urged all the entire motorbike riders and drivers to reduce their speed especially in market places to avoid rampant accidents.
Mr Michael also urged drivers and riders to ensure that their motorbikes, cars, have lights, side mirrors and brakes.
Tonj South Police Commissioner William Deng Wol condemned the incident and urged traffic police officers to hunt drivers and riders without brakes and light.
Mr Wol advised citizens and students to use their right hand when going to school or moving on the town road.
