The Vice President of the Republic said African National Congress or ANC party expressed readiness to help resolve SPLM crisis that transpired into mid December violence in Juba.
James Wani Igga told the press on Monday that he met ANC Chairperson Jacob Zuma at the sideline of African Union summit in Addis Ababa and expressed willingness to reconcile and build SPLM party due to their proximity and affinity.
He added that other parties would team up to reconcile the party’s Constitution and Manifesto that brought discontent among National Liberation Council or NLC members.
The Vice President said SPLM members differed on a very small thing on the Constitution that could have not transpired into gunfire.
Mr Wani Igga explained that six members demanded voting should by secret ballots while 128 maintained that it should be by raising hands or standing up to favour the illiterate majority population.
The Vice President argued that even members of the parliament and NLC are part of the 90 percent illiterate population in the country.
