African women call for peace in South Sudan

Women in Africa called on South Sudan leaders to bring peace in the young country.
 
South Sudan Women Leaders for Peace head of the delegation Betty Achan Ogwaro told Bakhita Radio that women also learned Liberian experience of getting peace.
 
another memeber, Mary Kiden Enoka advised women to be messengers of peace, urging leaders to talk the language of peace.
 
She said South Sudanese women do not want to lose more people than those lost during the 22 years of liberation struggle.
 
Ms Kiden said they would organize more training for peace in South Sudan in different states and counties to achieve lasting peace in the nation.
 
The Women made the statement on Wednesday during their arrival from Kampala after attending peace capacity building workshop organized by Women’s International Cross Cultural Exchange and I-C-C-O Netherlands.
