Yambio Major Seminary reopens

Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop on Saturday reopened St John Paul the Second Major Seminary at St Bakhita Parish in Yambioafter a long holiday.
 
22 major seminarians resumed their second semester, Anisa Radio reported.
 
Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala said the diocese established the Seminary for training future priests and young men to become good leaders.
 
St Paul Rector John Ngbapia disclosed that soon they will start welcoming new seminarians to begin the first semester.
 
The Major Seminary that opened last year with students from Tombura-Yambio Diocese and other parts of South Sudan offers three-year courses in philosophy.
