Eastern Equatoria Traffic police registered 60 traffic accidents in Torit town in the last three weeks.
High Way Operation Director Gar Chat Osman blamed the accidents on reckless cyclists who failed to follow traffic laws, Emmanuel Radio reported
He revealed that they registered cases of stolen motorcycles.
The Director said criminals were taking advantage of the political situation in the country to carry out their ill acts and that tracing them became difficult.
He called on the public to cooperate and follow traffic laws in order to avoid rampant accidents.
