EE UNMISS Coordinator urges Police to respect citizens

Eastern Equatoria UNMISS Coordinator called on new police graduates to serve citizens with respect and honour.
 
Hiroko Mosko said police should have humility, fairness, honesty and professionalism, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
She acknowledged the commitment of the graduating police officers during the six months training.
 
The official said the graduation marked the beginning of long career in providing safety and security to people.
 
Ms Mosko said the country was at a stage where more security officers were needed to protect citizens.
 
The Coordinator pledged UNMISS’ support to police to provide and maintain security.
