Yei Catholic Bishop on Sunday called on people to stop changing the real meaning of Christmas into commercial one.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe said business people were changing the correct meaning of Christmas from a time of receiving the son of God to a commercial day, Easter Radio reported.
the Bishop added that business people raise high prices of commodities during Christmas making people to think Christmas is a s season for buying goods.
Bishop Lodu advised Christians to prepare well for the coming of the Saviour.
He also advised Christians not to break their families especially those who received Matrimony in the church.
The Bishop was speaking at his first visit to St Cecilia Chapel of St Joseph Parish where he confirmed 20 candidates and blessed one couple.
