Young Men Christian Association or YMCA on Thursday concluded a three-day workshop on stigma and discrimination.
YMCA Director Justin Augustino Kirima said the workshop was targeting youth clubs and peer educators in Yambio County to teach them on stigma commonly affecting Western Equatoria communities, Anisa Radio reported.
He said the aim of the workshop was to empower youth with all the information on stigma to enable them make impact in their society.
Mr Kirima said they expected the participants to educate others and disseminate the information to set the society free from stigma and discrimination.
He said stigma was a major cause of suicide.
