The SPLA-N claimed it destroyed two Sudan Armed Forces or SAF’s convoys in Bau Locality of Blue Nile State on Sunday.
SPLM-N spokesperson Arnu Ngutulu Lodi said the incident happened between Derang and Salbel and another between Shamshur and Goldamul areas, Voice of Peace reported.
He claimed that their forces killed ten and injured another 16 SAF soldiers.
The spokesperson said SAF killed one SPLA-N soldier and wounded three others.
Mr Ngatulu claimed SPLA-N captured one landcruiser and destroyed three others.
He added that SPLA-N also captured two RPG-7 and ten AKM-47 rifles.
The spokesperson said their forces closely follow the SAF movements and ready to attack them, protect civilians and uproot NCP regime.
