The former SPLM Chief Ideologue said the party was in crisis due to bankruptcy of philosophy in the country.
Alfred Lodu Gore told journalists on Friday that the ruling party’s crisis was an indicator that it was lacking ideology.
He added that ideology was the compass direction for unity of purpose during the liberation struggle.
Mr Lodu Gore said the spirit of liberation brought independence to South Sudan.
He warned that the independence was now in danger due to removal of upright politicians and imposition of wrong elements in senior positions including mercenaries and failures in 2010 general elections.
Mr Lodu Gore appealed for the restoration of national ideology of liberation and revival of the country.
He warned that without restoring national ideology, South Sudan would end up a failed state characterized with power grabbing and greed.
Mr Lodu Gore said what happened in South Sudan’s political scenario was a shame, but SPLM founding members were silent to allow the dusty storm settle to speak with clear mind.
He pointed out that they were not against any individual, but servie the interest of the people.
