A Catholic bishop taught children that they were VIPs or Very Important Persons.

Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kusala of Tombura-Yambio organized a two-day workshop for children to teach them about Christmas, Anisa Radio reported.

He said children were VIPs because Christ the Savior came to earth in the form of a child and not of an old person.

He added that Christmas celebrated Jesus’ birthday, reminding people of his humility and respect.

Bishop Hiiboro urged children to teach others to understand that they should not quarrel for clothes during the feast, but remain humble and respectful to their parents.

He instructed children to write at their doors 20+C+M+B+14 to mean Christ is Blessing this House for the year 2014.

Bishop Hiiboro told children to go in groups to all houses to preach the good news.
