Tonj South County in Warrap State vaccinated 5,018 cattle from five payams.
Deputy County Supervisor for Animal Vaccination James Makal Chol said they trained 50 people to vaccinate cows and goats in their payams and bomas, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He explained that they vaccinated animals in Manya Ngok, Jak and Thiet payams.
Mr Chol said some people were refusing to vaccinate their animals and many cows died in the cattle camps.
The official urged Greater Tonj communities to cooperate with vaccinators by allowing them to vaccinate animals.
