Tonj South County Education Director in Warrap State on Thursday said floods affected many primary schools in Payams and Bomas.
Mayom Lual Bak said the most affected Payams were Thiet, Wanalel and Jack, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Mr Bak said many schools were surrounded by water and students were cut off from their education.
The Director said rural schools materials were kept in the County Education office because students were studying under trees.
Mr Bak urged all government schools head teachers of Tonj South to allow affected students to join any of their schools.
