Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO on Thursday trained media houses and civil society organisations to dissemination information of Constituency Development Fund or CDF in Juba.
CEPO Director Edmond Yakani said the training was to inform the media and civil society organizations about CDF Act, Bakhita Radio reported.
He explained that CEPO felt that it was crucial to enlighten the public on CDF transparency and accountability mechanisms to bring public fund embezzlers to book.
Mr Yakani said CEPO was also launching a website to publish CDF information.
He explained that information on CDF from all constituencies would be put into the website for public consumption so that constituencies know how much was allocated for their development.
