The President of the Republic appealed to business community, civil servants and development partners to assist flood victims during this difficult moment.

Salva Kiir Mayardit told the press on Thursday in Juba that he directed an intervention taskforce to visit all flood affected areas to show government solidarity with citizens.
He believes the visit of the taskforce would facilitate government plan to arrest the situation through collaborative efforts.
The flood so far affected seven states including Warrap, Northern Bahr El Ghazal, Unity, Upper Nile, Jonglei, Lakes and Central Equatoria.
Government is seeking for immediate aid in form of food, security, shelter, water and medical services for victims.
