Tore Health Centre got a medical theatre and x-ray equipments.
Community and Public Health Director in the Health ministry Hassan Ali Juma said Tore Health facility theatre installation last month brought services closer to the people, Easter Radio reported.
He said people used to be taken to Yei for x-ray, but now American team was already in Tore to run the new facility.
Mr Hassan said the ministry would continue updating the facility for more service delivery.
The director urged the people of Tore to use the facility well and refrain from going to witchcrafts.
He explained that going to the health centre was better because the sickness would be diagnosed and right drugs prescribed.
Mr Hassan advised that traditional treatment increases diseases and medical treatment would be too late.
The director made the statement on Sunday after Eucharistic celebration at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
