SPLM-N meets Swiss government

A delegation of the SPLM-N on Wednesday met the government of Switzerland to seek humanitarian solutions.
 
SPLM-N Secretary-General Yasir Arman said he, their deputy chairman Abdalaziz Adam al Hilu and the Swiss government discussed child immunization campaign and allowing aid to civilians in South Kordofan and Blue Nile states.
 
He mentioned that they discussed means of ending conflicts in the Sudan.
 
Mr Arman said they agreed to destroy stockpiles of anti-personnel mines in the SPLM-N controlled areas.  
 
He added that SPLM-N also met the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva and started a process of releasing Sudanese government’s prisoners of war.
