South Sudan Red Cross hoists flag in Yambio

South Sudan Red Cross on Thursday officially raised its flag in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.
 
South Sudan Red Cross first vice-president Monika Martin congratulated the people of the State for joining the national Society, Anisa Radio reported.
 
She urged state branch members to work closely with communities and cooperate with the government, NGOs and all partners to improve the society.
 
Yambio branch Director Alison Manguriko said state board members met and resolved to work hard and inspire new members to join Red Cross movement.
 
He appealed to the public to volunteer and join Red Cross.
 
Red Cross Tracing Coordinator Noah Agib said they trained seven volunteers last year to link separated family members in the state.
 
He said they succeeded to link more than 200 people with their families.
