More than 100 cars and trucks stuck in Luel Agok area after heavy rains made roads between Tonj and Wau impassable leaving drivers stranded without food and water.

One of the drivers Luwak Luwak told Don Bosco Radio that he spent four days on the road without food only surviving on tree leaves.

Mr Luwak complained that vehicles which were going to Wau, Kwajok, Aweil and those intending to go to Juba all stuck and people were left suffering.

Another Driver James Mawa Joseph said over 100 vehicles stuck and they faced hardships for the last four days.

He called on state and national authorities to rescue their situation.

Mr Mawa said they do not have problems of insecurity but only lack food and water.

The two drivers urged the state and national governments to rescue their situation.
