WBG Assembly reviews Governor’s policy

Western Bahr El Ghazal state Legislative Assembly formed an ad hoc committee to review and study governor’s policy delivered during the reopening of the House.
 
Committee chairperson Thomas Deng Yel said the nine-member committee called on the state to follow up and recover the money cut from employees’ salaries, Voice of Hope reported.
 
He said the committee also recommended effective management of revenues to fill salaries’ gap affected by austerity measures.
 
Mr Deng said the committee resolved that the state government should prioritize agriculture and livestock to improve quality of lives in rural communities.
 
The committee said the state government should draft laws to organize and protect forestry.
 
He also said the committees resolved that the state radio station should cover the whole Western Bahr El Ghazal.
