Eastern Equatoria citizens are eager for the cabinet reshuffle that the state governor told them is imminent.

Louis Lobong Lojore told thousands of Christians on Sunday at Our Lady of Assumption Church that what happened in Juba will also take place in Torit.

He said ministers who will remain will be happy while those going out will be unhappy and that nothing can be done to the unhappy.

Mr Lobong said people of South Sudan were in fear that the country would go into war after President Salva Kiir dissolved the cabinet including the vice-president.

He noted that the formation of the new cabinet fulfilled expectations of the nation.

The governor said it was  a normal thing for majority of the country to be happy of the new cabinet while few individuals are sad.

Mr Lobong stated that the SPLM will continue to maintain the situation in the Country and the party’s unity.

Governor Lobong said the SPLM was determined to lead the people of South Sudan to achieve their ultimate goal of peace dividends.

He listed unity, clean water, education, job opportunities, and tarmac roads as dividends of peace for South Sudanese.

Governor Lobong did not mention when he would reshuffle his cabinet.
