Lasu youth leader appeals for trainings

Lasu payam youth leader appealed to the government and the Church to build youths’ capacities to reduce high rate of illiteracy in the country.
 
Steven Wonge said there was high illiteracy among the youths in payams due to lack of technical trainings, Easter Radio reported.
 
He lamented that Episcopal Church of Sudan or ECS training was not enough.
 
Mr Wonge urged the Church to attract many organizations to avail employment opportunities to the youths.
 
He pointed out that Lasu payam youths were committed to cultivate to eradicatepoverty and meet President Salva Kiir’s action plan of 2014 food secure.
 
Mr Wonge urged the government and the church to support youths in agriculture and other income generating activities.
