Eastern Equatoria Governor on Friday alerted his cabinet on reshuffle to reduce ministries and Commissions.

Louis Lobong Lojore called an extraordinary council of ministers to brief the cabinet on the coming exercise, Emmanuel Radio reported.

The state spokesperson Felix Otuduha Siro told the press after the meeting that the governor briefed the cabinet on the need to reduce the government by relieving some ministers and commissions’ chairpersons.

He explained that Governor Lobong advised people to be affected to engage in private business as a support to the state development.

The state spokesperson revealed that the next cabinet will include new and old faces.

Mr Otuduha also advised communities that the coming reshuffle is a normal democratic practice nationwide not only in Eastern Equatoria.

No date was fixed for the reshuffle but indicators tell that some ministers and commission chairpersons will not attend next council of ministers.
