18 ministers, 9 deputies sworn into office

Eighteen ministers and nine deputies were sworn into office on Wednesday evening by the Chief Justice Chan Reec Madut, before the President of the Republic.
 
Two Ministers of Justice and Culture, Youths and Sports and three deputies did not take oath of office.
 
Salva Kiir Mayardit called on ministers to work hard because the current government is geared to service delivery.
 
Cabinet Affairs minister Martin Elia Lomur√∂ appreciated President Salva Kiir for trusting and appointing them.  
 
The national Legislative Assembly did not approve Justice Minister Telar Riing Deng for lack of documents and experience pending further investigation.
 
Two deputy ministers reserved: one is yet to bring her documents for scrutiny and second has sick leave.
