The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba planned to develop statute document that will guide the faithful and priests in all parishes.

The Auxiliary Bishop Santo Loku Pio said the archdiocesan administration came up with the idea of putting in a clear terms the statute of the parish pastoral council so that parishioner finds a space in the evangelization mission, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said the document is important for the formation of the parish’s councillors.

The Secretary-General of the Archdiocese Gabriel Ashida said the document will take one month to complete.

He said the document is very important because it handles the parish’s finance affairs.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro will bless the statute document in September before going to parishes.
