24 Egyptian youths start evangelization holiday in Wau

Youths from Egypt are starting a 20-day evangelizing holiday in Wau participating in the life of poor people.
 
Twenty-four young people in their twenties and thirties arrived on Sunday in Juba from Cairo accompanied by three priests and one sister and travelled on Monday by bus to Wau.
 
Jeannette Fawzy told CRN that they were sent by the Catholic Church in Egypt to work with poor and some groups sharing the gospel, being missionaries to the children and training in management skills and teaching.
 
Ms Fawzy said the group prepared during one year meeting every two months.
 
They also worked with young people in marginalized areas of Egypt to get ready to come to Wau.
 
Ms Fawzy said she was very excited about her participation in the evangelizing camp in Wau.
 
She added that she expected to meet new people and share in their lives.
 
Ms Fawzy noted that she was preparing herself for the trip for a long time and expects to have a great experience in a different place.
 
She said that among the group there were also some Orthodox youths.
