Yei Catholic Diocese cleric cautioned people against empty promises some politicians give after they are voted into power.
Zachariah Angutuwa Sebit said every body in South Sudan is competing for power and positions with empty promises without spirit of patriotism, Easter Radio reported.
He warned those campaigning for leadership to look back and check their previous records.
Fr Angutuwa asked politicians to avoid stirring war but play good politics like South Africans.
The Cleric advised South Sudanese not to expose country’s weakness to researchers who later misinterpret and exaggerate the information.
