Yei River County Agriculture Department of Central Equatoria State is carrying out an assessment on the performance of Non-Governmental Organisations operating in the rural areas.
Assistant Commissioner of Agriculture Edmond Taban Gogo said the assessment was to find out how NGOs participate on food production this year, Easter Radio reported.Mr Taban appealed to agricultural development partners to support farmers by building their capacities to enable them to increase food production in the county.
The Assistant Commissioner of Agriculture urged partners to give farmers practical training in their fields.
