The veterinary unit in the department of Animal Resources and Fisheries in Yei River County faces animals’ drugs shortage.
Stock officer Jackson Taban said lack of drugs forced the department to buy drugs from outside clinics to treat sick animals, Radio Easter reported.Taban requested the National and state ministries of Animal Resources and Fisheries to supply more drugs to rescue the situation on the ground.
He said without drugs animals are at risk.
