The Catholic bishop of Yei diocese said the Holy Communion was the promise of eternal life and resurrection.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe quoted Jesus Christ as saying “who ever eats this bread and drinks my blood will have eternal life”, Easter Radio reported.Bishop Lodu explained that the sacrament of the baptism is importance that keeps the faith forever united to Jesus even if one tried to change his denomination.
He added that the seven sacraments are important and that the sacrament of Holy Anointing keeps the dying person’s eyes fixed to Jesus though the sickness covered the eyes.
Bishop Lodu urged Christians to take the sacrament of repentance seriously in order to have their sins forgiven.
