St Kizito Parish of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba on Monday commemorates its patron saint at the parish’s premises in Munuki, Juba.

Organizing committee chairman Stewart Korsuk Nyarsuk told Bakhita Radio that Auxiliary Bishop Santo Loku Pio will preside over the Eucharistic celebration.

Mr Nyarsuk said the occasion is very important because it reminds the parishioners of St Kizito about the foundation of their parish.

He added that the occasion also revives their faith and hope in Jesus Christ, especially after knowing the courage shown by the little St Kizito and the Ugandan Martyrs.

Mr Nyarsuk revealed that this year’s occasion is unique because it was the beginning of their journey towards the Golden Jubilee.

St Kizito parish celebrated its silver Jubilee last year.
