The gap between the poor and the rich is widening as the rich are becoming richer on the expense of the poor since the country’s resources were not distributed fairly to all areas keeping the poor poorer.
Central Equatoria Minister for Cooperative and Rural Development Michael Tongun blamed communist and capitalism systems for the growing gap between rich and poor, Easter Radio reported.Mr Tongun disclosed that this year the nation is starting the cooperative decade and Central Equatoria state is the first priority because it was to lead this cooperative due to its productive land.
The minster was speaking during the opening of Cooperative office in Yei River County on Thursday.
