The distribution of primary school textbooks and teachers’ guides kicked off on Wednesday in Mundri West and Maridi Counties of Western Equatoria State.
Seven primary schools and adult learning centers in Kotobi Payam received over 3,300 books while the Bahr Olo Primary school in Maridi received 890 textbooks and teachers’ guides, Anisa Radio reported.Currently the textbook distribution team is delivering several containers to Tambura County.
The distribution of books to schools in all parts of the State will continue for at least four weeks.
The distribution concludes with a celebration on June 6, at Yabongo Girls Boarding Secondary school in Yambio.
The books cover the five core subjects of English, Science, Religious Education, Mathematics and Social Studies.
