The Journalists Union is conducting a four-day training for journalists on conflict reporting.
The training was organised to ensure that journalists are able to handle conflict while reporting and turn it into peace, Bakhita Radio reported.Union of Journalists of South Sudan or UJOSS chairperson Oliver Modi said they selected journalists from various media houses to get the knowledge and improve standards.
Mr Modi said training is going to continue for all journalists in South Sudan due to high need for formation.
He added that UJoSS organises informal training and the Association for Media Development in South Sudan will offer formal training.
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation funded the training.
