ÒDOCTORS ON MOVEÓ PROVIDE FREE MEDICAL CARE AT TORIT HOSPITAL

A medics team codenamed “Doctors on Move” on Monday started to provide free medical services to patients in Torit.

Team leader Fedrik Khemis said the specialists who came to Torit were providing secondary medical services including surgical operations to save patients from expenses of travelling for specialized medical care, Radio Emmanuel reported.

Dr Khemis said the team is one year old and comprises of several specialists.

The medical outreach team targets to conduct over 50 operations within five days at Torit Civil Hospital.

Acting Director General in the State Health Ministry Elijio Omoro appreciated the “Doctors on Move” for launching their outreach services in Eastern Equatoria.

He said it was a privilege for Eastern Equatoria patients to benefit from their free medical services.
